Travel Team: Syosset SYAC

| In 2000, it suddenly became "uncool" for girls in 9-12 grades to play intramural softball. That or they just had too much other stuff to do. But a handful still wanted to play. So we reorganized and renamed the other divisions so that the Junior league was now the Senior League and encompassed grades 6-8 and any older girls who wanted to play softball played on this single travel team that played a season of games against three teams from East Meadow (Luddine, Hallquests and Wurtzel, coaches), three teams from Seaford and one team from Long Beach. |
