Junior League declares "Girls" co-champions

Syosset, NY, 2003.06.24--The Commissioner of the Junior League and the Board of SYAC Girls Softball has decided that due to the difficulties of scheduling games beyond the middle of this week, winners of the semi-final games shown below will be declared co-champions of the Junior League. In Monday night's game at HB Thompson Middle School, the Uptown Girls took home the trophy by defeating the High Rise Jets.

In Monday's game, the Uptown Girls (top) defeated the High Rise Jets by a score of 13-8.

In Tuesday's other Junior League Final, the Mudd Girls beat the Grand Slam Girls by a score of 7-0.
