Longo wins nail-biter to become Senior Champs |

Syosset, NY 19 June 2006--A great win for Longo Construction tonight, 8-6 over Ebtex' Angels to capture the Senior crown.
Kristen Carton pitched beautifully in her last...oh, so sad... last SYAC game ever. Congrats to Bob and Jack and Paul and the Longo crew! And as the ump said to the Ebtex' Angels girls afterward, "You played an excellent game, and there's nothing to be ashamed of." It was a great final game, in fact, with timely hitting, excellent pitching and real tight defense. Came down to a two-run nailbiter, as Ebtex's Angels took the season right up to the last out in the finals. |
