Command Printing is 2007 Pony Champion!
Syosset, NY 13 June 2007--Uneeda Enterprises took first place in the American Division while The Bombers took first place in the National Division. About a week ago, we asked if these two teams would meet in Syosset-Woodbury Park for the Playoff Championship? Time has told...they would not. In a stunning upset last Thursday night, Command Printing, a team that finished fourth in its division, overtook Uneeda Enterprises by a score of 24-18.

Command Printing, coached by multi-year SYAC veteran coaches Rob Marlow, Mark Morello and Michael Wagner, then moved on to upset Promo Cup last Friday at Robbins Lane Near, 26-12. Last night at Syosset-Woodbury Park, they engaged the National Division leader, The Bombers, in the 2007 Pony League Playoff Championship Game.

Command Printing won the coin toss and got home field advantage. An outstanding defensive play by Kylie Marlow helped Command Printing beat The Bombers in the Pony League Championship Game, 14-9.



The Bombers congratulate Command Printing on their victory in the Pony League finals. Handshakes after the game are part of the good sportsmanship tradition in SYAC Girls Softball.
