Welcome to SYAC Instructional League Online Registration

In 2009, we added a night for Instructional League Registration. Parents of Kindergarten and First Grade girls had been asking for an opportunity to meet us and express their opinions about SYAC for quite some time.

We believed that having an in-person registration night would solve that problem and give us a chance to interview parents who want to coach and/or sponsor a team. Yet in spite of this outreach effort, two years of Instructional League Registration Night generated only 30 or fewer in-person visits each time. In 2010 we began online registration. Online registration was created to primarily allow people to pre-register (and to pay with a credit card!) so that when they got to the Evaluation night, they would only have to stand in one line instead of two.

One result of online registration is that we no longer have a separate night for the Instructional League. Since Instructional League players are not evaluated, this is not an issue for them. So, to register your Kindergarden or First Grade child for SYAC, you don’t have to come to Registration Night in person; you can register anytime online. But we really want to meet you, especially if you are interested in coaching or sponsoring your daughter’s team. In spite of there no longer being a special night for Insructional League registration, you can come down and see us on any of our other scheduled R&E nights.

Finally, if you are a parent of a First Grader who played when she was in Kindergarten, we strongly urge you to contact your commissioner to get your registration number and password before you register online. Those two things will allow you to simply edit your information instead of having to enter it all again from scratch. Contact your commissioner either by clicking her name at the top of this page or calling her. She will email you the information.

The fee for Instructional League registration is $125.00, payable by check (by mail or in person) or cash (in person only) or all major credit cards (online or in person).
