The Syosset Hurricanes, a U8 team, topped the Plainview Pythons 17-11 at Sawmill Fields in North Bellmore on September 29. Jenn Schneider was awarded the game’s MVP medal for outstanding hitting and fielding. Leading the Hurricanes’ smack attack were sluggers Kylie Marlow, Sam Molloy and Kayla Rabin.
