The Syosset Storm swept two games from the New York Mudcats at Longo Field at H.B. Thompson Middle School on September 30. Starting pitcher Laura Weintraub struck out five Mudcats in the first two innings and then went on to strike out many more. Rachel Janowsky was also outstanding in pitching the second game. The Storm prevailed by scores of 8-5 and 11-7. The Storm competes in the U10 division of the NJBL League.
